2012 Clary Lake Woodworking School is Up and Working

Still needs some work on the porch, but it is functioning and warm with a wonderful overhead furnace.  The building is 30 ft. by 60 ft.  I have an office and a bathroom in addition to the large work room.  There are 2 sets of double doors at the back for loading in supplies.
Getting my equipment in and making work stations ready for students.

Dust collection system is working very well.
More to come, just keep watching.

A new web site is in the making.

The Walls Go Up

The two long walls were built over Friday and Saturday, Aug 13 & 14. It rained Monday, so we erected them on Tuesday afternoon. Jack Holland, his son Taylor, Neighbor Ned, helped Paul & I. Campers came up, but too late to help.
Paul built the front wall on Thursday and put it up himself. The back wall was heavier, so we had Richard help us with it on Thursday morning before I left for work.
We put the top two rows of sheathing on the long walls on Sat. the 21st.

Wall Framing

Ten foot walls being layed out with 2x4 studs. I'm using 2x4 instead of 2x6 because of the weight factor of the 16 ft sections, also, I plan to put more insulation in the ceiling than the walls. There are five windows in each side wall. Wall sheathing is 1/2 inch OSB.
